A. On 28 October 2020, the Constitutional Court, as part of the pre-promulgation review, upheld, by unanimous vote, the objection of unconstitutionality formulated by the Parliamentary Groups of the Union “Salvați România”, the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania, the National Liberal Party, the Minority Group, as well as by non-affiliated deputies, and found that the Law on reparcelling of agricultural land owned by agricultural associations formed by religious cults is unconstitutional, as a whole.
The decision is final and generally binding and shall be notified to the President of Romania, to the Presidents of the two Chambers of the Parliament and to the Prime Minister.
B. On the same day, the Constitutional Court, as part of the pre-promulgation review, by majority vote, dismissed, as groundless, the objection of unconstitutionality formulated by the Government and found that the Law amending and completing Article 16 (2) of Law of zootechnics No 32/2019 is constitutional in relation to the criticisms formulated.
The decision is final and generally binding and shall be notified to the President of Romania.

C. Regarding the objection of unconstitutionality of the Law amending Article 7 of the Law of national education No 1/2011, objection formulated by the President of Romania,
The Constitutional Court postponed its decision for 18 November 2020.
